Rescue 42

Rescue 42 is a 2008 Seagrave Rescue Engine. For fire operations, it carries 1000 ft of 4 inch supply line, and 5 preconnected 1 3/4 hand lines, 2 at 150 ft., 2 at 200ft. and a bumper line at 100 ft. This truck seats 8 firefighters, and is sent out of town to cover for other cities if needed. This truck is the 4th or 5th truck out for structure calls, and is usually kept at the station to take call while the other trucks are at a fire. This truck goes out first for all all vehicle fires and MVAs.

Truck 42

Truck 42 is a 2006 Seagrave Quint, with a 100 ft. ladder, a 2000 gpm pump and a 500 gallon water tank. Truck 42 carries a full set of truck company complient ground ladder, 1000 ft. of 4 inch supply line, and 2 200ft. pre connected 1 3/4 hand lines. Truck 42 runs out second on structure fires and second on special rescue calls. The truck will rarely run on building fire calls outside of the hydrant district unless called for.

Engine 42

Engine 42 is a 2006 Seagrave engine, it was ordered and delivered along with Truck 42, This engine runs first out on all structure fires. It has a 1500 gpm pump, a 650 gallon water tank, a 25 gallon class A foam tank and a 25 gallon class B foam tank. The truck also carries 1500 ft. of 4 inch supply line, 500fl of 1 3/4 hand lines, 200 ft. of 2 1/2 inch line and a 10 ft. section of hard suction.

Wagon 42

Wagon 42 is a 1998 Seagrave Engine, it has a 1250 gpm pump, a 800 gallon water tank, 1000 ft of 4 inch supply line and 700 ft. of hand lines. This truck runs 3rd out of structure fires, and is also used for filling tanker during water shuttle operations. Along with the standard engine company tools, this truck also carries a large water manifold which allows it to pump out a 4 inch line and 4 3 inch lines for fill site operations. This unit responds to mutual aid calls.

Tanker 42

Tanker 42 is a 2010 International/1995 Pierce Tanker. Last year the tanker was sent out for a full refurb, and the body and pump remounted onto the new International chassis, replacing a Frieghtliner chassis that was begining to break down after years of wear and tear. The truck has a 2000 gpm pump, a 3000 gallon water tank, a 3500 port-a-pond, 1000ft of 3 inch line, and 500 ft. of attack line. This truck responds second out for fires in the non hydrant area, and is used quite often for brush fires.

Brush 42-2, 42-3, 42-1

The 3 brush trucks the department runs are all on 2008 Ford chassis. The truck on the right was originally on a 1994 dodge chassis. B-42-1 is one of the buisiest trucks in the department, responding out for medical assists and smoke investigation/fire alarm calls. Its 1000 gpm pump, 400 gallon tank and CAFS allow it to be used in a variety of ways. B-42-2 and 42-3 are somewhat identical 500 gpm/400 gallon/25 gal. class A foam brush trucks. B-42-3 was put together last winter, the Ford truck was used as a utility truck for a year and a half before becoming a brush truck.
